Things That Money Cannot Buy

Someone once said that “If you want to feel rich, just count the things you have that money cannot buy.” Money can buy many things. However, the list below are things that money cannot buy.

Money can buy affection, but it cannot buy love.

Money can buy happiness, but it cannot buy joy.

Money can buy calmness, but it cannot buy peace.

Money can buy tolerance, but it cannot buy patience.

Money can buy generosity, but it cannot buy kindness.

Money can buy morals, but it cannot buy goodness.

Money can buy loyalty, but it cannot buy faithfulness.

Money can buy mild manners, but it cannot buy gentleness.

Money can influence behaviors, but it cannot buy self control.

However, what money cannot buy, is given to us freely by the Holy Spirit; the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). All of these are freely given to us by faith because the blood of Jesus Christ has already purchased them. They are more valuable than silver or gold, which last for a moment and then vanishes away; they are God-given and eternal.

There are many things in this world that money cannot buy, that faith can, and it is those things that are everlasting and will endure the test of time. And if you really think about it, the best things in life are free. I encourage you to hold on to these things because they bring life to you and others.
